Comfort Dolls a Plenty!

Susan & Lynn
Lynn is the organizer of our local knitting Meet Up group. Her friend, Susan, is going to visit her son in Africa in June. Her son said that the kids have nothing to play with! So Lynn invited us all to her house today to make some of these adorable dolls! We have fun seeing what everyone came up with. There are a few patterns on Ravelry for these dolls.
Happy Knitting!

Praying for You............

I love this set called Thoughts & Prayers. This is a card for a friend. I used Certainly Celery for the base card and some CC DSP along with Chocolate Chip for the layers. The tree is stamped in Basic Brown and then I added some Flower Soft with Crystal Effects. The card is embellished with Hodegepodge Hardware.

Technique Tuesday~~~ Penny Spinners

I want to try to add something new to my blog. Will start with Technique Tuesday. Here is the first one!
Penny Spinners
Directions:
1) Use Word Window punch or hobby blade to cut a 3/8" slot (straight, zigzag, or curved) into your card stock. Stamp card stock as desired.
2) Sandwich a Stampin' Dimensional between two pennies.
3) Insert pennies into slot, carefully pulling at edges to avoid tearing card stock.
4) Stamp and cut out your spinner image. Adhere to penny.
5) Adhere card stock piece with spinner to your card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Happy Stamping!

Happy Easter

Sometimes things work out better when you mess up! I was making a few Easter cards using my texture plates as a layer. For whatever reason, this layer didn't emboss completely and left some undone on the bottom. So instead of tossing......you fix! I did so by adding ribbon to this card! Also added some dew drops as well.
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango
Blush Blossom
Shimmery White
DCWV Designer paper
Sizzix cross die cut
SU Photo Corner punch
SU Ticket Corner Punch
Dew Drops
SU Texture plates
SU Flower Brads
